Philanthropy information
Giving back is a core part of who we are. At Phi Gamma Delta, service isn’t just a requirement — it’s a responsibility we take seriously. Our chapter is committed to making a lasting impact on campus, in San Antonio, and beyond. Each semester, our brothers organize and participate in events that support meaningful causes — from fundraising for national organizations to volunteering at local nonprofits. Through philanthropy, we strengthen our values of leadership, humility, and community involvement. Some of our recent efforts include: Hosting campus-wide charity events Partnering with local organizations for volunteer work Raising funds and awareness for veterans, mental health, and troubled animal programs. Whether we’re raising money, donating time, or just showing up where help is needed, FIJI leads with purpose. Our mission is simple: Serve with intention. Support others. Lead by example.

Fall '24 Philanthropy: San Antonio Humane Society

In the fall, we partnered with the San Antonio Humane Society, rallying our campus to support local animal welfare efforts. Through events, outreach, and fundraising initiatives, we raised a significant amount of money — making it one of our most successful philanthropy weeks to date.
Spring '25 Philanthropy: Wounded Warriors Project

In the spring, our efforts turned toward honoring those who’ve served. We dedicated our philanthropy week to supporting Wounded Warriors, raising funds and awareness for veterans recovering from service-related injuries. It was a powerful and meaningful campaign that brought our chapter and community together around a cause larger than ourselves.
